QC Specialist Microbiology II (d/f/dm)

About the role

Lek's microbiology laboratory in Lendava is looking for a QC Specialist Microbiology to ensure the quality of its products. The role covers analytical equipment qualification, preparation of protocols and procedures, analytical method validation, review and approval of analyses and support for inspections. It involves close collaboration with analysts, coordination of work and investigation of deviations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate analytical deviations and implement preventive and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with current Good Practices, including data integrity
• Review and approve analytical data and tests (sample release)
• Validate and troubleshoot analytical methods and support the introduction of new methods and techniques
• Take part in selecting new equipment, maintain laboratory equipment and ensure staff training
• Prepare and revise procedures, certificates of analysis and analytical and registration documentation, and archive it properly
• Support inspection readiness and communicate with analytical stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree in microbiology
• Active knowledge of English and fluent Slovenian
• Previous experience in quality, development, production or related fields is an advantage

• Permanent contract with a 6-month probation period, 40 hours per week, gross pay of EUR 30,960 to 46,440
