Project Management Support Specialist

About the role

Join a global leader in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors as a Project Management Support Specialist. You will coordinate CMC‑related activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring timelines, risks, and resources are effectively managed.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and day‑to‑day management of CMC activities across drug substance, drug product, and analytical development workstreams.
• Coordinate preparation and timely delivery of CMC development packages to external partners and contract organizations.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, flagging potential delays or conflicts.
• Prepare monthly project reports covering progress, risks, open issues, and resource outlook.
• Support resource planning and forecasting for assigned CMC activities.
• Maintain a risk, issue, and dependency log and support mitigation actions.
• Identify and escalate critical issues to management in a clear, structured, and timely manner.
• Facilitate cross‑functional coordination between internal teams (analytical, drug substance, drug product, quality, regulatory, supply) and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project planning, milestone tracking, action management, risk/issue tracking, reporting, and resource forecasting.
• Ability to operate independently within an agreed scope and proactively identify risks and dependencies.
• Strong communication skills with both management and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in the local language of the site (German for Austria/Switzerland, Slovenian for Slovenia) and proficient in English.
• Comfortable with an 80% onsite work model.
• Prior experience in a CMC, biologics, or pharmaceutical development environment is a plus.
