Metrology Technician

About the role

The metrology team is looking for a Metrology Technician who provides reliable and accurate measurements supporting new product development and the quality and stability of production processes. You will help develop measurement methods, improve laboratory processes and deliver high-quality, timely results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform measurements using 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical measuring equipment, a contour measuring system and manual measuring tools.
• Support projects related to the development and introduction of new products.
• Maintain measuring equipment and carry out the required calibrations and validations.
• Develop and improve measurement methods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the metrology laboratory.

Required profile

• At least upper-secondary technical education.
• Fluency in Slovenian is mandatory; working knowledge of English is also required for international collaboration.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of or experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other measuring equipment.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and geometric tolerancing.
• Knowledge of basic quality and statistical tools such as SPC and MSA.
