Medical Lead CEE+

About the role

Under the guidance of the Medical Director CEERJ, the Medical Lead CEE+ is responsible for driving regional medical affairs plans across Central and Eastern Europe. The role focuses on KOL engagement, scientific data generation and communication to support Sobi’s medicinal and medical device products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional medical affairs planning and execution, adapting global guidance to local specifics.
• Serve as the main interface with Sobi HQ functions such as Global Medical, Clinical Development and Pharmacovigilance.
• Advise and support country Medical Science Liaisons (MSMs) in plan execution, alignment and prioritisation.
• Partner with country managers, commercial strategy and finance to align budget and operations.
• Participate in internal project teams and deputise regional team members as needed.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs, payers, academia and government organisations through compliant scientific exchange.
• Coordinate scientific support for investigators involved in company‑sponsored and investigator‑initiated studies.
• Maintain KOL engagement plans and records in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across functions and countries.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific exchange with external experts.
• Capability to lead regional planning and support cross‑functional projects.
