Lead Application Security Engineer

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a senior technical leader to anchor a follow‑the‑sun DevSecOps delivery model. You will guide a cross‑functional pod that integrates Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) and AI‑enabled secure code scanning across a 24‑hour development cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a localized, cross‑functional team of engineers and data scientists, ensuring continuous feature delivery.
• Coordinate seamless shift hand‑offs with peer leads in other time zones to maintain 24/7 velocity.
• Own the technical delivery of ASPM integrations and AI‑driven secure code scanning within the SDLC.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for regional technical challenges, performing secure code reviews and guiding infrastructure architecture.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering and architecture experience with proven technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in Python and strong command of English (upper‑intermediate level).
• Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps, cloud security, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to own system integrity, performance, and security while mentoring team members.
