About the role

Novartis is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join its analytical laboratory in Ljubljana. The role focuses on performing physical and chemical analyses of solid pharmaceutical products to ensure quality, safety, and efficacy before market release.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analyses using HPLC and UV‑VIS techniques.
• Perform physical analyses and sample preparation.
• Process, verify, and record analytical results.
• Enter data into the laboratory information system.
• Maintain the laboratory diary and archive analytical documentation.
• Check and calibrate simple instruments.

Required profile

• Secondary education in pharmaceutical, chemical, veterinary or a related field.
• Fluent Slovenian and basic English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Responsible, precise, highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Laboratory experience is desirable.
