iOS Developer

About the role

OTP Bank is looking for an iOS Developer Specialist to contribute to the development and enhancement of mobile applications. The position is permanent, subject to a 6-month probation period, and is based in Maribor or Ljubljana with hybrid work (office and remote).

Key responsibilities

• Develop software components according to specifications by writing and implementing efficient code.
• Provide ongoing support for existing solutions and prepare technical documentation.
• Perform unit and integration testing and manage the software development lifecycle with the provided tools.
• Assess IT development requests, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze issues, recommend and implement improvements, and design complex software solutions.
• Contribute to requirements definition, validate designs, coordinate integration and optimization, and lead smaller projects and working groups.

Required profile

• Completed Level 7, Level 6/2 or Level 6/1 education.
• No criminal record and no pending criminal proceedings.
• Excellent written and verbal English, including working with technical documentation.
• Willingness to learn, self-motivated and proactive.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI; understanding of MVC and separation of concerns.
• Git for version control and CI/CD, including Jenkins.
• Figma to review designs and translate them into interfaces.
• Nice to have: mobile app development experience, Agile, App Store release process (provisioning profiles, code signing, TestFlight), XCTest, Firebase, and Combine or RxSwift.
