Immunology & Inflammation Account Specialist

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an Immunology & Inflammation Account Specialist to promote a portfolio of specialty medicines within specialist healthcare settings in Slovenia. The role focuses on compliant engagement with healthcare professionals across rheumatology, gastroenterology and dermatology, working closely with regional managers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Promote assigned specialty medicines in line with the approved brand strategy and local regulations.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant healthcare professionals.
• Deliver high‑quality product discussions using approved materials and messaging.
• Plan and manage territory activities to achieve sales and activity targets.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of activity using CRM systems.
• Stay up‑to‑date on disease areas, treatment pathways and competitor landscape.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, partner requirements and industry codes of practice at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a medical or pharmaceutical sales representative, preferably in specialty or secondary care.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider sales team.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, business or a related discipline is preferred.
• Legally qualified to work as a medical/pharmaceutical sales representative in Slovenia.
• Fluent in Slovene and business‑level English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
