Field Representative - Receivables Collection

About the role

Izterjava d.o.o., a Slovenian receivables management and collection company founded in 2007, is hiring a full-time on-site Field Representative (Referent na terenu) in Maribor. The role involves visiting clients and debtors in the field to collect and verify information and support the efficient and lawful recovery of receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients and debtors in the field and conduct structured conversations
• Present payment options and document agreements reached
• Collect and verify information and report findings to the office team
• Collaborate with legal and back-office colleagues and ensure accurate records
• Follow internal procedures and relevant regulations

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally
• Good organisational abilities, including time management, route planning and accurate documentation of field visits
• Basic understanding of receivables management, finance or debt-collection legal procedures (formal legal or economic education is an advantage)
• Comfortable working predominantly in the field, with independence, reliability and responsibility
• Fluency in Slovenian; additional languages are a plus
• Previous experience in field work, customer service, collections or a related area is beneficial

Required skills

• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets and basic office software for reporting and data entry
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region as required
