Expert Drug Supply – Material Management Specialist

About the role

Novartis is launching a state‑of‑the‑art clinical manufacturing site at Biocampus Mengeš, Slovenia. As an Expert Drug Supply you will act as the subject‑matter expert for material management, guaranteeing GMP‑compliant, timely and fully traceable material flows that support clinical production.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuous availability of all materials required for clinical manufacturing.
• Plan material requirements, monitor stock levels and maintain safety inventories.
• Coordinate supply of materials for drug substance (DS), drug product (DP) and laboratory activities.
• Oversee receipt, documentation checks, storage, handling and withdrawal of both SAP‑tracked and non‑SAP materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material movements in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support product and material transfers between production and warehouse zones while ensuring GMP compliance.

Required profile

• Passionate and skilled specialist with experience in pharmaceutical material management.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and clinical manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
