About the role

Helen Doron English Kranj is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to work with children aged 4‑13. The role involves delivering interactive, play‑based lessons in the afternoons, following the Helen Doron methodology and using prepared teaching materials.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to small groups of children (4‑13 years old) using a fun, active approach.
• Create engaging lessons that incorporate games, movement, music, stories and creative activities.
• Follow the structured curriculum and use Helen Doron teaching resources.
• Monitor each child's progress, provide feedback and communicate with parents as needed.
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Required profile

• Excellent command of the English language.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a warm, empathetic personality.
• Reliability, good organisational skills and the ability to lead a group.
• Availability to work regularly in the afternoons throughout the school year.
• Interest in a long‑term commitment with the centre.
