Email Marketing Manager

About the role

MeetMinded is a fast‑growing startup that connects people through local meetups worldwide. As the Email Marketing Manager you will own the email channel for a subscriber base of several hundred thousand, shaping strategy and executing daily campaigns that keep members engaged without feeling like spam.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the email communication strategy across acquisition, activation, retention and win‑back.
• Build and maintain a near‑daily sending calendar that maximises engagement and minimises unsubscribes.
• Segment the audience by geography, behaviour, lifecycle stage and other relevant criteria.
• Write, build and ship email campaigns at high cadence, including onboarding, re‑engagement and other lifecycle flows.
• Manage deliverability, sender reputation, inbox placement and list hygiene.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing and segmentation, and translate results into weekly strategy improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to draft, personalise and test emails faster and at scale, and continuously explore new AI solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience running email marketing at scale with large lists and high sending volumes.
• Strong copywriting ability – you craft emails people want to open.
• Data‑driven mindset; decisions based on opens, clicks and conversions.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and take initiative.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ljubljana city centre.
