Distribution Controller – MEA Region

About the role

The Distribution Controller will turn fragmented logistics and freight data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decisions across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will provide accurate reporting, performance visibility, and recommendations to improve distribution performance, cost control, and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reliable reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics to support distribution and supply‑chain decision‑making.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, and automated reporting solutions by consolidating data from internal systems and external logistics providers.
• Analyze freight spend, transportation performance, service levels, distribution costs, and operational KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, and regional leadership to deliver data‑driven recommendations.
• Improve data quality, validate reporting accuracy, and create standardized reporting structures across a complex logistics network.
• Support strategic logistics initiatives with business analysis across multiple transportation modes and international markets.
• Drive reporting automation, process optimisation, and BI best practices to increase visibility and reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply‑chain analytics, logistics analytics, business intelligence or a similar analytical role within an international environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Power Query and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data‑modeling, dashboard development and data‑visualisation capabilities.
