Distribution Analytics Lead – Senior Marketing Data Scientist

About the role
As the Distribution Analytics Lead you will head a high‑impact team that transforms complex marketing and distribution data into faster, smarter decisions for Outfit7’s portfolio of mobile games. You will define measurement frameworks, drive advanced testing methods and partner with product and leadership to translate business goals into analytical initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Build, lead and grow a team of analysts and data scientists supporting Marketing, Growth and Distribution.
- Set the Distribution Analytics roadmap, prioritising work that maximises profit growth and channel performance.
- Own and continuously improve measurement frameworks for paid user acquisition, including LTV, ROAS, predictive payback and bidding inputs.
- Drive adoption of incrementality testing, geo‑experiments and Marketing Mix Modeling.
- Champion organic growth analytics and measure store performance alongside paid channels.
- Establish experimentation standards, statistical guardrails and clear decision frameworks.
- Define technical standards for clean, scalable data pipelines, reproducible analyses and well‑documented internal tools.
- Represent Distribution Analytics in cross‑functional forums and communicate findings to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience hiring, developing and retaining analytics talent.
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to link analytical work to commercial outcomes.
- Deep understanding of mobile app economics, LTV and ROAS modelling, attribution and channel performance.
- Hands‑on experience designing and running incrementality tests, geo‑experiments or MMM.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
- Positive, proactive, lead‑by‑example attitude with high attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced SQL.
- Python or R for statistical analysis, modelling and visualisation.
- Modern data‑stack tools such as DBT and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Business intelligence tools for reporting and dashboards.
