DevOps/System Engineer

About the role

GameArt is looking for a DevOps/System Engineer to own and improve its IT infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability and high availability across both cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor and maintain on‑premise and AWS cloud systems, including networking devices (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox).
• Automate workflows and deployments using Bash, Ansible and Git, and maintain documentation and internal wikis.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support, manage user access, workstations and security controls (TLS, SSH, firewalls).
• Collaborate with development and IT teams using Jira and Bitbucket, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

• Team‑player, proactive self‑starter with strong problem‑solving attitude.
• Detail‑oriented, security‑mindful and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) administration.
• Scripting with Bash and automation with Ansible.
• Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and containerisation (Docker).
• Networking fundamentals and devices: Cisco CLI, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, pfSense.
• Cloud basics (AWS) and infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix, Elastic).
• Version control (Git) and collaboration tools (Jira, Bitbucket).
• Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Defender.
