Developer Experience Engineer

About the role

Soniox is building a real‑time conversational reasoning platform that powers transcription, translation, speaker separation and intelligent speech understanding across dozens of languages. As a Developer Experience Engineer you will help developers discover, adopt and integrate this speech AI technology through demos, sample applications and educational content.

Key responsibilities

• Design and publish innovative demo applications that showcase Soniox’s real‑time speech AI capabilities.
• Create and maintain high‑quality technical content such as tutorials, sample code, videos and blog posts.
• Assist developers by providing best‑practice guidance and reference implementations for web, mobile and backend environments.
• Engage with the developer community on forums, GitHub, Discord and live events, gathering feedback to improve the platform.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence API, SDK and onboarding tool design.
• Support strategic partners by building technical integrations and prototypes.

Required profile

• Passion for building and sharing creative, technically sound projects that inspire others.
• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering full‑stack applications.
• Deep curiosity about speech and voice interfaces and the role of AI in their evolution.
• Ability to translate complex technology into clear, actionable examples for developers.
• Comfort working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining ownership.
