Area Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead and coordinate the daily activities of our sales representatives in the Central Slovenia region. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, building customer relationships, and supporting the operational continuity of our beverage business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities and routes of sales representatives.
• Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and overall team performance.
• Analyze sales results, distribution, promotions, collections, and product placement.
• Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback to the sales team.
• Manage relationships with existing and potential customers, including negotiations and contracts.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Calculate performance‑based incentives and support continuous improvement.
• Provide operational support to ensure business continuity when needed.

Required profile

• Secondary school education (Level V).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales position.
• Experience in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of the SAOP system is a plus.
• Responsible, conscientious, and positive attitude with persistence in achieving goals.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and respect for deadlines.
• Geographical accessibility to the Central Slovenia area is preferred.
