Area Manager Adhesives

About the role

Bolton International, the international division of the Italian family-owned FMCG company Bolton, is looking for an Area Manager Adhesives to join its Sales Team in Bolton Adriatic, based in Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia. The role covers a set of countries in the Adriatic region with full P&L responsibility for the Bolton Adhesives portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute the annual business plan for the assigned countries, with full P&L responsibility for the adhesives portfolio.
• Own the sales, advertising and marketing budget and implement the related activities in the assigned countries.
• Run commercial initiatives with distributors while complying with all group guidelines.
• Track distributor performance daily against plans and take corrective action where needed.
• Handle forecast, analysis and reporting of sales data by product and country, and monitor orders and payments by distributor and category.

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a commercial (sales, trade marketing) or marketing role.
• Data-driven and goal-oriented, able to negotiate in different cultural environments.
• Willing to travel regularly.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
