Senior Territory Manager Orthopaedics Slovenia

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Senior Territory Manager for its Orthopaedics business in Slovenia, based in Ljubljana. This is a MedTech sales position within Clinical Sales focused on surgeons, working on commission. The role involves regular visits to doctors and specialists, supporting cases, educating customers and building strong relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly visit doctors, specialists and hospitals in Slovenia
• Educate and support customers and young TMs on the products of the MD division
• Establish, maintain and develop good relationships with customers and KOLs
• Analyse the potential of the territory to achieve and maximise business objectives
• Take part in major congresses, symposia, fairs and exhibitions representing the MD divisions and their product portfolio
• Report regularly to the supervisor and keep management informed through activity reports, call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses and plans
• Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products and new products
• Submit orders using price lists and product literature, and prepare tender offers together with other departments
• Provide technical support during surgeries and take part in customer education on the products
• Prepare sales plans for accounts together with the SM, and cooperate with KAM on hospital management execution
• Help prepare the BU sales strategy with the SM and PM, and coach other colleagues and lead projects outside the core portfolio

Required profile

• Experience in sales, preferably in medical devices or orthopaedics
• Ability to build relationships with doctors, hospitals and KOLs
• Willingness to travel regularly in Slovenia
