Senior QA Engineer – Test Automation (Playwright, TypeScript)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Zurich Customer Analytics (ZCAM) team in Ljubljana. You will drive quality engineering by establishing testing practices, mentoring colleagues, and turning manual testing into automated, robust workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and apply QA architecture, testing standards, and quality gates across multiple projects.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites using Playwright and TypeScript, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop testing strategies based on requirements and risk analysis, overseeing the full QA lifecycle from planning to release sign‑off.
• Partner with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to embed quality early in the development process.
• Mentor QA engineers of varying seniority and contribute to continuous improvement of QA tools and processes.

Required profile

• At least five years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proven track record of leading QA activities and mentoring teams in complex, multi‑project environments.
• Strong communication skills in English and Slovenian.
