Senior Backend Developer - Azure Integrations

About the role

Danfoss Group IT is looking for an experienced developer to lead its integration initiatives and improve its application portfolio in the Azure cloud. The role sits in the Digital Customer Experience (DCE) team, which develops, supports and leads the digital customer experience across more than 125 international colleagues. The position is open in Slovenia, Croatia, Poland and Romania and is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven integrations (Azure Event Grid and Azure Service Bus) and serverless functions following MACH principles.
• Use Azure CDN to serve assets and deliver the best possible user experience.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep.
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft Azure security best practices, including access controls, data encryption and vulnerability management.
• Set up and maintain a CI/CD pipeline with Azure DevOps to automate build, test and deployment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Azure integration technologies such as Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
• Strong .NET development and C# skills, and a solid understanding of serverless architectures and cloud-native principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Spoken and written English, strong communication and collaboration skills.
