About the role
The University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Computer and Information Science is hiring a postdoctoral researcher for its quantum computing group in Ljubljana. The position starts in January 2027 and lasts two years.
Key responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and exactly solvable models as proof of principle, then test their scaling numerically on HPC and on quantum hardware where feasible
- Publish results, contribute to open-source implementations and co-supervise PhD students
- Work within ongoing national and European research projects
Required profile
- PhD in physics, computer science, mathematics or a related field
- Experience in at least one of the listed research topics
Required skills
- Solid scientific programming skills
