Junior Consultant - Strategy Consulting

About the role

EY Parthenon is hiring a Junior Consultant in Ljubljana, Slovenia, for its strategy consulting practice. The team develops strategies for clients entering new markets, growing and expanding, and supports acquisitions and company integrations. The role suits someone who wants to work across many industries with experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out in-depth market research using analytical tools and methods to build insights on different markets.
• Take part in strategic initiatives covering market entry, growth and expansion plans.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports and presentations with findings, feasibility studies and strategic recommendations.
• Apply a problem-solving mindset to complex challenges in market-entry evaluations and strategic projects.
• Offer strategic input and help execute growth plans, mergers or acquisitions.
• Keep up with industry trends, market dynamics and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• University degree (or graduating this academic year).
• Interest in strategy consulting; previous consulting experience is ideal.
• Good spoken and written English, as the team communicates in English.
• Ability to stay calm under complex, intense work and to learn quickly about unfamiliar topics.
• Personal fit with the team is essential.
• Availability for business travel to client sites depending on projects.
