Customs Declarant (m/f)

About the role

UPS, a global logistics and transportation company operating in more than 200 countries, is looking for a customs declarant (m/f) for its subsidiary UPS Adria (S) Ekspres d.o.o. The declarant represents the company in customs matters and works with companies and individuals during customs inspections or inspections carried out by inspection services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare documents for import and export customs procedures in line with the law and UPS Adria's authorisations
• Take part in customs inspections of goods and inspections by inspection services
• Keep records, prepare reports and make calculations
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Secondary education
• Desired qualification in customs business representation
• Active knowledge of English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adaptability, motivation and teamwork
• Driving licence category B and a certificate of good conduct

Required skills

• Excellent command of computer tools (MS Office)
• Customs documentation preparation

• Permanent full-time employment (8 hours a day, 40 hours a week) with a three-month probation period and the option of indefinite extension
