Senior .NET Engineer – Hybrid (Ljubljana, Slovenia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Engineer to design and build robust, scalable backend solutions. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Ljubljana office, and offers the chance to influence architecture, code quality, and engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET/C#.
• Implement REST APIs, messaging, and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Work with Entity Framework / EF Core and relational databases for data persistence.
• Apply clean‑architecture principles to produce testable and maintainable code.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the backend platform and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Tech Leads to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and overall engineering quality.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with C#/.NET on complex backend systems.
• Solid understanding of designing reliable, scalable, and maintainable services.
• Commitment to building software properly rather than merely completing tickets.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week in Ljubljana.
