IT Audit Analyst

About the role

Join Deloitte’s IT Audit team as an Analyst, supporting clients in evaluating their IT controls and business processes. This entry‑level position is designed for final‑year students or recent graduates in economics, IT, computer science or related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and understand client accounting, operating procedures and internal control systems.
• Perform audit procedures and assess client IT environments.
• Test the effectiveness of automated internal controls.
• Analyze client big‑data relevant to audits and key business processes.
• Evaluate information system functionalities and capabilities.
• Prepare documentation of performed procedures.
• Use technology‑based tools and methodologies to support review and design of audit products.
• Understand clients’ business environment and basic risk‑management approaches.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or final‑year student) in Economics (Accounting/Finance), IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar discipline.
• Strong academic record; recent graduate or close to graduation.
• Fluent in English and Slovenian (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with stress resilience.
• Diligent, punctual, systematic and responsible approach.
• Willingness to invest time in personal knowledge and competencies.
• Relevant experience such as internships, summer positions or school jobs (advantage).

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
