Slovenian NLU Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Our NLU team is seeking native Slovenian speakers to work on grammar development and data annotation for statistical model training, focusing on automotive NLU solutions. Candidates should have a background in linguistics, speech recognition, or computational linguistics and possess general computer skills for text editing, annotation, and grammar writing.

Key responsibilities

• Revision and extension of resources for Speech Recognition software
• Development of grammars for Natural Language Understanding
• Retraining of Machine Learning models for NLU, including evaluation and error analysis
• Text manipulation and data processing
• Localization of data, online surveys, etc., into Slovenian

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related technical field
• Native Slovenian speaker
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Self‑learner with initiative and perseverance to deliver high‑quality work

Required skills

• Unix shell scripting (bash)
• Machine learning, deep learning and large language models (LLMs)
• Regular expressions
• Python or Perl programming
• Version‑control systems (git, svn)
