Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Soniox is building the future of real‑time voice AI and needs a Frontend Software Engineer to turn powerful speech and translation technology into intuitive, high‑performance user experiences. You will work closely with research, design, and backend teams to deliver live transcription, multilingual translation, and real‑time voice reasoning across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React, TypeScript and modern web technologies.
• Build scalable infrastructure to support live audio, real‑time streaming, and interactive AI interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, research and design teams to prototype, implement and iterate on new user experiences.
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation and production deployment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production‑grade web applications.
• Confidence in building complex end‑to‑end systems, even without mature infrastructure.
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React and the modern frontend stack.
• Strong focus on design quality, performance and maintainable code.
• Enjoy fast, data‑driven iteration and continuous learning.
