Field Service Engineer – On‑site Compressor Specialist

About the role

You will join the Customer Center Service team as a Field Service Engineer, providing on‑site service for compressors and compressed‑air equipment across northern Slovenia. Your work ensures that customers’ systems run reliably, safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform start‑ups, routine maintenance and repairs on compressors and compressed‑air machinery.
• Manage spare‑part inventory and maintain the company service vehicle.
• Advise customers on system optimisation and energy‑saving opportunities.
• Use modern digital tools for internal and external communication.
• Conduct daily customer visits; overnight stays only in exceptional cases.

Required profile

• Technical vocational education (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive technology or similar).
• Knowledge of refrigeration technology is a plus.
• Previous service‑technician experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Independent, solution‑oriented and comfortable working directly with customers.
• High level of commitment, responsibility and initiative.

Required skills

• Compressor maintenance and repair.
• Compressed‑air system servicing.
• Refrigeration technology (advantage).
• Proficiency with digital communication tools.
