Data Engineer / Analyst

About the role

Cosylab is looking for a Data Engineer / Analyst to join its Business Analytics team. You will prepare data for analytical and operational use, work with the data warehouse and create reports for internal stakeholders such as management, production, marketing, sales and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes that load data into the data warehouse.
• Prepare and maintain data structures (views, tables, scheduled jobs) for reporting.
• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and deliver appropriate data solutions.
• Integrate new data sources in line with evolving business needs.
• Collaborate on modernising the internal data infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of ETL pipelines.
• Solid grasp of data modelling for reliable reporting.
• Ability to work directly with business users to translate needs into data solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
