Accounting & Tax Supervisor

About the role

As an Accounting & Tax Supervisor at TMF Group, you will deliver world‑class accounting and tax services to a portfolio of clients in Slovenia. This senior position involves overseeing complex accounting tasks, ensuring statutory compliance, and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
• Payroll processing, including calculation of salaries, taxes and contributions.
• Preparation and filing of income tax and VAT returns.
• Review and clarification of the general ledger.
• Preparation of reports for the National Bank of Slovenia and internal management reports.
• Execution of payment transactions.
• Training, reviewing and coordinating junior team members.
• Keeping up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Analytical and methodical with experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Deep knowledge of Slovenian accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong people skills, integrity, team spirit and excellent organisational abilities.
