Warehouse Operator (m/f/d)

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join its logistics team in Mengeš, Slovenia. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of warehouse processes, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, sampling, storage, issue and palletising of materials.
• Prepare technical‑technological documentation and maintain traceability.
• Perform administrative and accounting tasks, entering data accurately into the system.
• Handle material preparation, weighing, solvent transfer, cleaning and order‑based processing.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as cleanliness, pest control, temperature and legal compliance.
• Validate processes, equipment and supporting information systems according to internal procedures.
• Supervise transporters and vehicles, ensuring permits and regulations for hazardous goods are followed.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education in a technical or related field.
• Proficiency in Slovene and English.
• Valid forklift (and/or pallet‑jack) licence.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work accurately and responsibly in line with safety standards.
• Physical fitness for material handling in a warehouse environment.
