UX Designer – Design Systems & AI Workflows

About the role

Loftware is looking for a UX Designer who will own and evolve its design system while integrating AI‑driven workflows. You will work across multiple product teams to make design‑to‑code hand‑off seamless and help the organization move faster through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the design system library, defining components, documentation, and usage guidelines.
• Optimize DesignOps by standardising templates, improving design tools, and streamlining the delivery pipeline between UX and engineering.
• Explore, test, and implement AI tools that automate repetitive design tasks and accelerate prototyping.
• Collaborate closely with developers to align design tokens and components with code repositories such as Storybook.
• Lead UX debt audits, clean‑up inconsistencies, and introduce scalable new functionalities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• System‑mindset that sees the whole product ecosystem rather than isolated screens.
• Passion for operational efficiency, workflow optimisation and clean design‑to‑code hand‑over.
• Comfortable defending design decisions to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Curiosity for emerging AI technologies and willingness to pilot them.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (variables/tokens, complex variants, auto‑layout).
• Experience with design system documentation tools such as Storybook.
