Telecommunications Site Maintenance Worker

About the role

This position is for an independent contractor responsible for the regular upkeep of telecommunications sites across Slovenia. You will work directly in the field, ensuring that each site remains safe, accessible, and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Mow grass and manage vegetation around towers and site premises.
• Cut bushes, remove overgrowth and keep access routes clear.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and accessibility of all site areas.
• Perform minor repairs, including locks, doors, fences, signs and brackets.
• Carry out basic painting, sealing, cleaning and corrosion‑protection tasks.
• Inspect site conditions, report damages or safety risks, and document with photos and service reports.
• Maintain tools and mowing equipment in good working order.
• Assist with additional field‑maintenance duties as required, including optional work at height when qualified.

Required profile

• Registered s.p. (or similar entity) capable of issuing monthly invoices.
• Practical maintenance and handyman experience.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and travel between sites.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to work at heights (certification advantageous but not mandatory).
