About the role

Novartis is looking for a Production Engineering Technologist to join its Ljubljana site. You will ensure reliable operation of solid‑dose manufacturing and packaging equipment, drive technological improvements and support investment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support the implementation of new manufacturing and packaging lines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for equipment, systems and processes.
• Establish maintenance plans for new equipment, including spare‑part requirements.
• Coordinate work with external contractors and suppliers.
• Transfer knowledge and train operators, technicians and junior engineers.
• Maintain equipment and independently resolve system deviations.
• Implement new tools and digital solutions to improve processes.

Required profile

• Higher education in a technical field or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience in engineering or a production environment.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Strong independence, accuracy and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive attitude and readiness to work in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
