Technical Steward I (d/f/m) – Process Technology Expert

About the role

Sandoz, a global leader in biosimilars and generic medicines, is hiring a Technical Steward I (d/f/m) in Ljubljana and Brnik, Slovenia. You will give expert support to production on process-specific topics across one or more manufacturing steps, ensuring timely execution, continuous improvement of quality and productivity in line with GMP guidelines, and supporting knowledge transfer between functions and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Technology stewardship: own assigned technologies and ensure compliance with internal and global standards
• Support production, resolve deviations and lead projects for process optimization and new technologies
• Facilitate knowledge transfer across functions, sites and the global MS&T network, and introduce new technical standards
• Contribute to equipment qualification and investment projects, and prepare validation reports for validation and product transfer to commercial manufacturing
• Manage training plans and deliver technical training
• Present technical work at internal and external conferences and contribute to benchmarking
• Ensure inspection readiness and comply with safe work, environmental protection and asset security requirements

Required profile

• University degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, chemistry or another relevant scientific field; a master's degree is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience supporting processes in manufacturing, manufacturing science and technology, technical development or quality
• Active English and knowledge of the local language

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a 6-month probation period, 40 hours per week
• Pay range of 38,640 to 57,960 EUR gross per year, depending on level, qualifications and experience
