About the role

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic professional to join our team as both a sommelier and waiter at JAZ in Ljubljana. You will play a key part in delivering memorable dining experiences, combining attentive table service with expert wine recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu.
• Recommend wine pairings that complement each dish and explain the selections.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service flow.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome.
• Strong interest in wine, with the ability to share knowledge confidently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal right to work in the European Union.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and food pairings.
• Professional table service etiquette.
