Software Engineer – Backend for AI Platform

About the role

Sportradar is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join its AI unit and work on the Argos platform – a cloud‑native, low‑latency infrastructure for computer‑vision processing. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers and DevOps engineers to design, build and operate real‑time AI workloads in AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, deploy and operate solutions for real‑time, low‑latency computer‑vision processing.
• Integrate and productise computer‑vision models together with the research team.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technology stack and architecture for AI workloads.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience developing production‑grade solutions in Python.
• Proficiency with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile development, Git, CI/CD and code review processes.
• Fluent English, autonomous, rigorous, creative and a team player.
