Site Master Data Expert (d/f/m)

About the role

Sandoz is looking for a Site Master Data Expert in Ljubljana to manage and maintain accurate and timely master data in its ERP system, in line with legal requirements, internal standards and best practices, supporting manufacturing site operations. The position is on a permanent contract with a 6-month probation period and about 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Understand pharmaceutical product lifecycle events and the impact of master data on each stage
• Ensure reconciled and consistent master data across lifecycle phases and global business processes
• Define and manage master data processes for manufacturing sites, including responsibility matrices
• Maintain data integrity and quality by analysing requirements and ensuring reliable sources
• Continuously verify the consistency, completeness and accuracy of site master data
• Review and amend site data maintenance requests in line with global processes and SOPs
• Set priorities to ensure timely release of material codes for product launches
• Support compliance workflows, report deviations and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences or another relevant field (e.g. Information Technology, Mathematics)
• Experience in master data operations in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is desirable but not mandatory
• Fluent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Experience with SAP is desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Programming knowledge to support process optimisation is mentioned
