Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician provides on‑site services for aftermarket clients, installing new equipment, maintaining and upgrading existing systems, and delivering product education to customers and internal staff.

Key responsibilities

• Install new equipment and services at customer sites.
• Maintain, service, and upgrade existing equipment.
• Provide instruction and education on product usage to customers and internal employees.
• Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements.
• Assess product needs according to customer specifications and act as the local on‑site representative.
• Manage statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend actions to company or customer representatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar on‑site service and technical support role.
• Relevant technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills for instructing customers and internal staff.
• Effective problem‑solving and organizational abilities to manage statements of work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment.
• Ability to conduct technical analysis and manage technical products and services.
• Experience troubleshooting and recommending technical solutions.
