Senior Software Engineer – Real‑time Betting Platform

About the role

Join the Managed Trading Services (MTS) team at Sportradar, the world’s leading sports technology provider. You will design, build and ship high‑throughput, low‑latency backend services that power real‑time risk betting for operators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy backend services and APIs in a cloud‑native environment.
• Deliver work in small, independent increments and own the code in production, including monitoring and on‑call duties.
• Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to translate requirements into shippable features.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean documentation and capture architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate or similar) or another strong OO language.
• Solid understanding of computer‑science fundamentals, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to own your changes in production and work with AI‑assisted, spec‑driven development.
• Strong communication skills, proactive learning attitude and a bias toward shipping small, frequent releases.
