Senior Software Engineer - React Native - Consumer

About the role

Payward’s Consumer Mobile team is looking for a senior engineer to shape the Kraken app experience. You will work across product, design and engineering to turn ambiguous client problems into high‑impact mobile features.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Build responsive, reliable React Native experiences for trading, product discovery and journey simplification.
• Partner closely with Product and Design, contributing engineering perspectives early in the development process.
• Work with APIs and real‑time data, making decisions on state management, rendering performance and architecture.
• Raise the product‑engineering bar through technical discussions, code reviews and strong product ownership.

Required profile

• Strong React Native experience with shipped production apps.
• Product‑building mindset, able to start from the client problem and shape solutions.
• Evidence of measurable product impact using metrics, experimentation or client feedback.
• Comfort with data‑rich, real‑time applications and API integration.
• Close collaboration skills with product managers and designers in a globally distributed team.
• Versatility and proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude).
