Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join the Managed Trading Services (MTS) team at Sportradar, building high‑throughput, low‑latency backend services that power real‑time risk betting management for operators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and ship backend services and APIs within a cloud‑native stack (Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, Kafka, gRPC, AWS).
• Deliver work in small, independently shippable increments and own the services in production, including monitoring, alerting and on‑call duties.
• Write clean, well‑tested, documented code, participate in code reviews and capture architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) or another strong OO language.
• Strong grasp of computer‑science fundamentals, automated testing (unit, integration, API) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Eager to learn a complex domain and modern cloud technologies, and to take ownership of features end‑to‑end.
