Senior Scheduler – Mechanical Engineering (Hydro)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to join the Mechanical Engineering department of our Hydro division, based in Maribor (or Zagreb). The role supports large‑scale hydropower and EPC projects, ensuring that project schedules are accurate, compliant and aligned with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review and maintain baseline schedules using inputs from the project team.
• Revise schedules when contractual changes occur and guarantee compliance with quality, scope and milestone requirements.
• Coordinate and expedite schedule data from all disciplines, providing timely feedback on delays, critical‑path variations and milestone status.
• Produce schedule‑related deliverables, including mitigation scenarios, PSP/WBS summary reports and progress monitoring.
• Conduct delay analyses and advise the project team on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project scheduling for hydropower, grid stability, energy or EPC plant projects.
• Proven track record on large, complex projects in a professional scheduling role.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• In‑depth knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting.
