Senior Java Software Engineer

About the role

Join Sportradar’s Odds Tribe to build high‑performance services that process real‑time sports data for hundreds of global clients. You will influence architecture, design, and delivery of distributed systems while working in a collaborative, cloud‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices that handle real‑time sports data streams.
• Implement ATDD/BDD testing practices and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in incident response, post‑mortem analysis, and continuous improvement of production systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java expertise.
• Proven ability to design, deliver, and operate distributed systems at scale.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Leadership mindset; others look to you as a role model.
