Senior Data Analyst - Finance

About the role

Sportradar, a sports technology company at the intersection of sports, media and betting, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its international Finance team. Reporting to a Data Analyst Manager, you will sit in the global Data Office and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to management, helping commercial and operational teams create value and supporting strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce comprehensive analyses across product units, customer segments and other dimensions, with market context and competitive benchmarks.
• Use the AWS cloud-based analytics platform to find patterns that drive organic and inorganic growth and cost efficiencies.
• Work with business unit analysts and FP&A to give senior leadership a global overview of strategic priorities.
• Lead insight generation along end-to-end customer journeys on key SR technology platforms to influence product development and fan engagement.
• Set up automated monitoring of client sport data and AV stream consumption to support revenue generation and pricing.
• Enhance big data and data warehousing solutions, including unified taxonomy, data governance, cleaning, structuring, aggregation and visualization.
• Drive internal data products, automation and visualization tools, self-service reporting and related training.

Required profile

• 5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Insights or FP&A analyst in a high-growth multinational, applying advanced financial analysis and management reporting.
• Undergraduate degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business or Finance; an MBA/MSc is a clear advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); another European language is a plus.

• Advanced financial analysis, business planning and KPI development.
• Expert-level financial and business modelling in MS Excel.
• Analytics platforms and data visualisation, including AWS.
• PowerPoint storytelling.
