Senior Business Development Expert – Global Account Management

About the role

As a Senior Business Development Expert you will act as the key account manager for strategic customers in the oil and gas sector, supporting large industrial projects worldwide and collaborating with regional sales teams across multiple continents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned OEM, EPC and strategic project accounts in line with the global account strategy.
• Drive the full Lead‑to‑Cash process, from opportunity qualification to commercial negotiations.
• Analyse markets, customer investment plans and project pipelines to identify early business opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive insights to continuously improve solutions.
• Build and develop long‑term relationships with customers beyond individual projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business or a comparable technical/commercial field.
• Several years of experience in business development, sales, key account management or project management within refinery, chemical, refractory or related engineering industries.
• Proven experience working with customers on capital projects or industrial process industries.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with technical understanding.
• Fluent English and ability to travel up to 50 % of the time.
