Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

Help us build the platform behind the games. MYNT is our new supplier platform that connects games, operators and surrounding services. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys solving real engineering problems in distributed, production‑critical systems and will work hands‑on with .NET across APIs, services and data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve the backend capabilities that power MYNT, taking work from technical design through implementation and delivery.
• Work across services, APIs, data and integrations, making practical technical choices that keep the platform reliable and easy to evolve.
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews and technical discussions to maintain a consistent engineering approach.
• Turn product needs into well‑considered technical solutions, handling ambiguity and making sensible trade‑offs.
• Own the behaviour of delivered solutions in production, investigate incidents and improve platform reliability.
• Support squad delivery practices, including releases, deployment processes, observability and production diagnostics.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, simplify recurring work and automate processes.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience building backend systems with object‑oriented languages, preferably C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Hands‑on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core and relational database design.
• Experience designing APIs and services in a distributed or service‑based architecture.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, patterns and clean architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and supporting software in production.
• Structured problem‑solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership for quality and production outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize and make progress in a fast‑moving environment.
• Fluent English and comfortable communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
