Sales Representative – Debt Collection

About the role

Coface, a global trade finance group offering trade credit insurance, business information, debt collection, single risk insurance, surety bonds and factoring, is looking for a Sales Representative for its Debt Collection business in Ljubljana. You will actively acquire new clients, build a sales pipeline and close deals while following up with new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients for Coface Debt Collection services
• Generate and qualify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
• Present Coface solutions, hold meetings with prospects and prepare tailored commercial offers
• Negotiate contracts and close deals, achieving sales targets
• Follow up with new customers and support their onboarding
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports using existing IT tools
• Work closely with internal teams to maximise business opportunities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (professional or university level) in Economics, Business or another relevant field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience; or higher vocational degree with at least 4 years of experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Proactive, results-oriented approach and ability to build long-term business relationships
• Professional English and Croatian/Serbian; native Slovenian and permanent residency in Slovenia are required
• Category B driving licence
• B2B sales and new business acquisition experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Sales reporting and record keeping
