Sales Manager (f/m/d) - International B2B

About the role

Filc, a brand of Freudenberg Performance Materials, produces needle punch nonwoven textiles and laminated materials for automotive, construction, filtration and special applications. It is looking for a proactive, curious Sales Manager (f/m/d) based in Škofja Loka to open new markets, build long-term B2B relationships and work with technically sophisticated products in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new B2B sales opportunities in international markets across Europe and other regions
• Develop sales strategies, monitor market trends and analyse competitors
• Launch products in new markets
• Take part in the customer complaint resolution process
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, technology and other specialist teams

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field or another relevant discipline (economics is acceptable with a strong affinity for technology)
• Several years of experience in international B2B sales, preferably in a technical industry
• Fluency in Slovene and English; additional languages such as Asian languages, German, Spanish or Portuguese are an advantage
• Extensive travel, including intercontinental, about 30% of working time
• Openness to different cultures and business practices, curiosity and a growth mindset
• Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers

Required skills

• Experience launching products in new markets, understanding manufacturing processes and working with technical specifications and testing methods is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of construction markets is a strong advantage
• Comfortable in advanced digital environments (CRM and ERP systems, Microsoft Teams)
